M R Gardens

I highly recommend the native plants from MR Gardens with Megan Riley! Megan’s plants are always very healthy, well rooted and very reasonably priced! If you care about ecological health, pollinators, and having a garden that fits naturally into its environment (rather than one that forces “ornamental” plants everywhere), then Megan is a standout.

Megan is awesome- super knowledgeable and gave us great advice on a consult visit to our house. Very high quality plants at great prices - will definitely go here over traditional nurseries for native plants moving forward.

Megan is an incredible resource! I consulted with her this past spring on a new garden and was so grateful for her breadth of knowledge of native plants. She offers an incredible variety of natives and coached me through which to select along with growing tips. All are thriving so far, which is completely thanks to her, as I have little experience or talent in this area. I highly recommend her and MR Gardens!

I have purchased native plants from M R Gardens for the past two years. They are healthy and happy plants that have really made my garden nicer, and Megan is so helpful and knowlegable about native plants.

I purchased my first plants from Megan 5 years ago. Consistently plants bought from MR Gardens outperform those bought at other nurseries. I do enjoy end of year sales and the ‘show’ at our large local nurseries but I can say many of the perennials I’ve bought that way just didn’t survive. If you are looking for quality, it is found here at MR Gardens. Last year’s butterfly weed put on such a show for a first year perennial! And provided enough seed for the neighborhood. I don’t know what the secret is, but Megan’s perennials are special, they’re hardy and they come back every year like they are supposed to… even if I am slightly neglectful. I especially appreciate the native species.
